Big Links! – Packing Shipping and exporting drag chains to China

As an Internationally renowned Logistics centre we love a challenge! International Export Packers, Newark, Nottinghamshire, UK  can find a solution for any size of package. Sometimes our clients items can be too hefty to move to our depot for packing and can end up costing the manufacturer a fortune, we are able to invite our clients to build their products in our yard or warehouses, it is then easily located for us to pack and ship it off to its final destination.

This drag-chain is a prime example. It was constructed at our premises to save the client money,  expertly packed by our team and then shipped to China. Before transit, our team secured a net over the drag-chain to prevent anything from getting inside the chain. It was then secured to a wafer thin, super low-loader with straps and sent to the docks.

 

Machinery breaks down sometimes and requires spare parts, we have recently packed the individual links to be transported and exported. In this case, size does matter!

Drag chains also known as Cable carriers,  energy chains, or cable chains depending on the manufacturer, are guides designed to surround and guide flexible cables and hydraulic or pneumatic hoses connected to moving automated machinery. They reduce wear and stress on cables and hoses, prevent entanglement, and improve operator safety. Cable carriers may be arranged to accommodate horizontal, vertical, rotary and three-dimensional movements.
