At International Export Packers, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the amazing achievement of our colleague, Craig Symonds, who recently completed a charity skydive in support of the Children’s Bereavement Centre.
What began as a daunting personal challenge quickly became an unforgettable experience filled with adrenaline, determination and an incredible sense of achievement. Despite admitting beforehand that “looking forward to it may be a little strong,” Craig bravely faced his nerves and took the leap — quite literally — for a cause that means a great deal to him personally.
The skydive gave Craig the opportunity to tick off a major bucket list challenge that, by his own admission, he may otherwise have continued putting off “for one reason or another… mainly fear!” However, the chance to raise money for such a worthwhile local charity gave him the motivation and determination to finally go for it.
The Children’s Bereavement Centre provides invaluable support to children, young people and families experiencing bereavement, offering guidance and care during some of life’s most difficult moments. Knowing that the funds raised would help support this vital work made the challenge even more meaningful.
Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of family, friends, colleagues, customers and the wider community, Craig has raised an outstanding £1,429 so far — an amazing fundraising achievement that will make a real difference to the charity and the families it supports.
Everyone at International Export Packers is extremely proud of Craig for stepping so far outside of his comfort zone and representing the business with such courage, positivity and determination. His skydive not only demonstrated personal bravery, but also highlighted the power of community support and fundraising for causes that matter.
