The HMS Harrier was one of our most delicate jobs and there was no room for error here, so every precaution and measure was taken to make sure the jet didnāt budge an inch in transit.
The wings were bolted to a solid 4Ć3 frame, which was also bolted to the 6Ć3 base. All glass; shiny and moving parts were wrapped or covered to prevent any damage. The jet itself was strapped to a solid base and blocked out with foam layered 4Ć3 blocks which prevented any wear and tear.
