Gas Pipes – 40 Tonne

Project Description

On top of a 12×6 railed base sits 3 sets of pipes for the Oil and Gas industry, weighing a total of 40 tonnes. 

The pipes were blocked out around the base to prevent any movement in transit, and to support the base when lifted. A frame was lifted on top of the sets which sits flush with the grabs, holding the gas pipes down to the base. They are then sealed inside a foil bag, complete with silica gel bags to avoid any moisture damage. 

The case is then put together and finished off with a tarpaulin sheet covering the lid which prevents any internal water damage
